Annual Beer Competition
· Jan – Otley up a fridge
o Can you pimp up a fridge full of Otley products? Make over a fridge with our branding? Stealth placement of our product in someone else’s fridge?
· Feb – Stealth, Undercover Otley
o How do you slip an Otley product or logo in somewhere it doesn’t belong? You can’t be caught or seen doing it. How mission impossible can you make it?
· Mar – Where is Otley?
o No not Yorkshire! But where can you place one of our products or our brand logo? Can you position it somewhere it’s never been before? And then can it be spotted in the picture?
· Apr- Epic Days are Brewing!
o It’s our new mantra, how would you interpret this? What does that mean to you? What’s your idea of an epic day?
· May – Otley in the most unusual places!
o Where can you position our product or our brand that defies belief! How did you get it there?
How was that possible? NO way!!
· Jun – Otley in the funniest places!
o Ok you amazed us last month, make us chuckle till our belly aches this month. How funny if an Otley logo or
product was placed here, how funny if it was doing this??
· Jul – Otley on vacation!
o Where in the world will Otley pop up next? Sunning it in the Caribbean? Trekking across India? Or simply on the
beach in Pembrokeshire? Or how can you make our product or logo look like a tourist?
· Aug – Photo Bombing/Jacking with Otley
o We have all done it, jumped in front of someone’s photo or did something silly in the background without being caught.
How daring can you be with our product or logo?
· Sept – Photoshop with Otley
o A chance to let the digital genius out from inside. What can you do with a bottle of our beer or our brand if left alone
with Photoshop and time?
· Oct – Otley at work!
o Placement of a product or a logo in your work environment, someone else’s work environment.
ow to make it look as though it belongs there.
· Nov – Otley Sport
o Time for fitness, time to get physical, time to win gold! To hell with energy drinks, beer all the way.
Position Otley in a sporting environment, being the sportsman, being the object that is used for sport?
· Dec – Urban Otley
o Get down on the streets. It’s time to earn street cred and hang out with Otley on the corner.
How can Otley become a part of street culture, how does it fit in, how does it run?
Interpretation of each theme can be in any medium of your choice, photography, painting, sculpture, print, etc
Entries are to be submitted by the first Friday of each month after the theme month.
Winners will be notified by email or phone.
Quarterly finals will be held at the brewery where all the monthly winners will be judged against each other
The overall winner will be notified by Feb 2014.
Winning entries may also be used for limited edition drip mats, bottle labels or T shirts if judged to be suitable.
Winners will be notified prior to printing if chosen.
An exhibition of the best works will take place in February 2014 at the brewery and all participants will be invited to attend.
Monthly winners will receive:
1 x case of Otley beers, 1 x mini keg of Otley beer, 6 branded glasses, bar runner, drip mats and branded T shirt.
Quarterly winners will receive:
6 x cases of Otley Beers, 6 x mini kegs of Otley Beer, 6 x branded glasses, Branded T shirt and an invite to a brewery
event of their choice. (Excluding Brew day event)
Overall winner will receive:
A brew day at the brewery for two people to brew a brand new beer and input their ideas, accommodation for two people
for two nights, a beer dinner with the Otley team on the Saturday night, Sunday roast and a box of Otley beers and goodies to take home.
When the new beer is ready the winner will also receive 6 x mini kegs of the beer to enjoy delivered to their home.
